FiringPinStudios is an independent game development studio built on a passion for creating immersive, meaningful experiences. Focused on originality and player-driven design, the studio aims to develop games that prioritise creativity over profit, free from microtransactions and corporate influence. With a small yet ever-growing team, FiringPinStudios seeks to challenge the conventions of the modern games industry, moving away from high-pressure, profit-driven design and instead embracing a more thoughtful, soul-driven approach reminiscent of an earlier era of gaming. The studio is dedicated to building a strong connection with its community and crafting experiences with care, purpose, and a genuine love for the medium.
Born from curiosity, chance, and some good old fashioned luck, FiringPinStudios is the result of a journey that was never planned.

"FiringPin was originally just a method for me to store and view my protypes and projects I’d been working on as I had previously lost quite a few corrupted files and YouTube just seemed like a great way to immortalise them. after sometime it gained a bit of traction for a Virtual Reality, Halo fan game I had been working on. This was also deep during the lockdown era so I had a lot of free time on my hands and before I knew it, I had produced a whole story, Levels and Sequences for a game. But the mechanics just weren’t there, so I decided after releasing the first few levels I needed to gather my experience and be taught professionally. That’s when I decided to go back and try university again with a fresh mind. There I met some incredibly and like-minded people who also wanted to develop game with soul again but didn’t want to be crushed by a ever changing, ever more demanding industry. So, we put our heads together and out of the chaos, FiringPin slowly formed." - Harry

Aaron Gibbon
Hard Model Lead
Aaron is the backbones to FiringPin. you might not have seen his face, but if you’ve played one of our games lately you would have definitely seen his work. It’s everywhere! Aaron has been modelling for quite some time now and has already produced work for some large titles but here at FiringPin he has settled in the chaos, with a border line unhealthy workload Aaron is a true soldier and asset.

Oliver Cutts
Props / Enviroment Lead
Oliver has been with FiringPin from the very start in our first year of Uni. he never partially had a strong desire for the industry but watching his skills grow into AAA quality was a blast. He has shown keen, quick and strong learning skills and has an acute attention to detail. Ask him for a prop and after a week or two its right in front of you ready to go. He is a vital part in FiringPins pipeline.

Harry Williams
Creative Director
Harry, who is also critiquing himself in third person right now, is quite an ambitious fellow. With what some might say as, eyes bigger than his belly and what others may consider as “a lil bit bonkers”. Yet, throughout all this, he continues to pursue dream of running his own studio which makes cheap, fair and just games.

Jude Wadlow
Research Lead
Jude, is if you took charisma and enthusiasm and mixed them together into an entire person, then unfortunately drop them on their head as a small child. Never the less, Jude’s skills are less in the game development of FiringPin but more in the networking and social media side of it. If you’ve come from the YouTube side there’s a good chance you already know him already. Jude was the initial spark of FiringPin, the first person who didn’t laugh at the idea of running a studio but genuinely took is seriously and allowed Harry to build the confidence to finally chance the dream.
